The College has an opportunity for a Senior Chef de Partie to join its ambitious kitchen team.  You will assist the Executive Head Chef in delivering a wide variety of Catering in many different settings.  Whether you are cooking for student Cafeteria or a Masters Dinner, the expectation is flawless catering utilising both humble and exceptional ingredients.  As Senior Chef de Partie you will be a key player in a passionate brigade, where your own food passion and interests can be nurtured and developed.  

The successful applicant must possess knowledge of modern techniques, current food trends and the experience appropriate for a kitchen that prepares from scratch. The post holder must have a strong understanding of Food Hygiene, Allergen Awareness and Health and Safety.

Bedmaker/Cleaner

Corpus Christi College has a vacancy for 1 full time Bedmaker.  Main duties involve daily cleaning of rooms, offices, toilets, and staircases. Applicants must have experience in a hotel, college or similar environment and will be able to demonstrate excellent cleaning skills including knowledge of chemical handling.  A vocational qualification is also desirable. There will be some weekend working required.

The post available is as follows:

(Post available x 1) Old House Site – 37.5 hours

You will be reporting to the Head Housekeeper and will be part of a team of 24 staff, 7 of whom work at Leckhampton House the post-graduate site and the remaining at Old House for the under graduates. You will be working on your own and within your team to provide a first-class cleaning service for the College.

Applicants must have the ability to work on their own in student & learning environment, be conscientious, hardworking, and reliable. There will a certain amount of climbing of staircases and carrying bulky items as well as busy conference periods. Flexibility is key to being successful in this role. Please do not apply if you do not have the experience required as set out in the job description.
